The Eastern part of the DRCongo continues to face serious security challenges due to ongoing conflict and instability. Armed violence, displacement, and insecurity have forced thousands of families to flee their homes, leaving children among the most vulnerable. Many children are exposed daily to hunger, malnutrition, and disease as access to food, healthcare, and basic services remains extremely limited. In response to this crisis, Women’s Talking Circles DRCongo through our food relief project is designed to support children affected by conflict by providing regular, nutritious meals and targeted support to prevent hunger and malnutrition for six months from February 2026 -July 2026. Through this initiative, we aim to improve children’s health, strengthen their resilience, and give them a chance to grow and learn despite the difficult conditions surrounding them especially in Ruzizi plain. Access to adequate food is not only a matter of survival but also a foundation for hope. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our donor and partner Dorothy Tecklenburg’s Family that continues to stand with the people of eastern DRCongo. Their consistent support makes our work possible to reach children in need and to restore hope to families facing unimaginable hardship.

Period : February 2026 -July 2026.
